Having the Catholic Bible online is a real service to research. It is a God-send for being able to copy and paste Bible quotes into your own studies.
The Douay-Rheims Bible has the longest history as the definitive translation of the Latin Vulgate in the English language and it still has the widest approval. Even today there is no denial that it is the Catholic Bible.
For these reasons this is the only Bible that we recommend. It is also the Bible that the better 1962 Missals use this translation: Fr. Lasance, New Marian, Angelus Press, Baronius. These last two are versions of the old New Marian. The St. Andrew and St. Joseph use the Confraternity version that uses unisex and Anglicized words.
You can also compare a couple of different Bibles or use the Haydock Commentary to see what the Bible means according to the Church Fathers.

Using Douay-Rheims Catholic Bible online you can search for the quote you want to use. The search function is at the top of each page. Copy and paste where you need. The Haydock Commentary has the teachings of the Catholic Church from the Fathers of the Church and other Catholic Saints of the Bible, like St. Jerome.
This is a wonderful quote from their About page:
"We know and believe that the Catholic Church was established by Jesus Christ and teaches the fullness of Christian truth. The Catholic Church bases her teaching upon one source: The Word of God. This divine revelation is transmitted in two ways: through Sacred Scripture and through Apostolic Tradition. Many assume that only apostolic writings are the word of God. However, according to Scripture, their oral transmission is also considered the word of God (e.g., 1 Thess 2:13, 2 Tim. 2:2, and 1 Peter 1:25).
Furthermore, Sacred Scripture warns the individual to avoid "private interpretation" (2 Peter 1:20-21) because it may lead to his "own destruction" (2 Peter 3:15-17). For it is not our personal interpretation of the bible that leads to truth (Proverbs 3:5-6), but the Holy Spirit guiding the Church (John 16:13), the "pillar and foundation of truth" (1 Timothy 3:15), who then reveals it to the world (Ephesians 3:10)."
May God grant us all final perseverance!
You can listen to the Douay-Rheims Bible on Mp4 or Mp3, too. Read along or listen as you drive or do light chores. We have found it to be super helpful with high school students who are reading the Bible. They have an easier time reading through geographical words and long names.
